Mohan Bhagwat recently claimed that a "deep state" is trying to divide the nation based on caste and community, with some political parties supporting this agenda. His statement came during his Vijayadashami speech, where he urged the "Hindu society" to rise above caste divisions and support Dalits and marginalized communities.
In response, Kapil Sibal questioned the impact of Bhagwat's message, asking, "Who is listening? Modi? Others?" Sibal shared his thoughts on X, reacting to Bhagwat's call for celebrating festivals together and building friendships across different languages, cultures, and backgrounds.
Bhagwat also spoke about the importance of inclusivity in public spaces, such as temples and water facilities, encouraging all communities to participate equally.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Bhagwat’s speech and congratulated the RSS for its 100-year anniversary, highlighting the organization’s dedication to the nation. Modi said that the RSS's commitment would inspire future generations and help in realizing a "Developed India."
Bhagwat noted that India has become stronger and more respected globally in recent years but warned of external and internal threats aiming to destabilize the country. He emphasized the need to stay vigilant against these "sinister conspiracies."
