Delhi experienced its coldest morning of the season on Thursday, with the minimum temperature dropping to 10.1°C, slightly below the normal level of 10.3°C, as reported by the Meteorological Department. Earlier, the coldest morning was on November 21, when the temperature was 10.2°C. By November 25, temperatures had risen to 14°C.

The weather forecast predicts clear skies for the day, with the maximum temperature expected to reach 26°C. The drop in temperature is due to cold winds from the northwest, bringing chilly air from the mountains. Temperatures might dip below 10°C on Friday.

This season's coldest daytime temperature was 23.5°C on November 19, while November 18 and 23 both recorded 27.2°C. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature was 27.3°C, slightly above normal, marking it as the third coolest day this season.

In October, Delhi recorded its highest average temperatures in 74 years, with the last record set in 1951 at 36.2°C. In November, temperatures have mostly stayed above normal.

Air Quality:
Delhi's air quality remains poor, with a 24-hour average Air Quality Index (AQI) of 313 at 9 am, falling in the "very poor" category. A thick smog still blankets the city. None of the 38 air quality monitoring stations recorded "severe" levels, though this is the fifth consecutive day the AQI has stayed "very poor."

On Wednesday, the AQI was 303, making it the cleanest day of the month, slightly better than 343 on the previous day. However, the AQI peaked at 422 on November 20, followed by 371 on November 21, 393 on November 22, 412 on November 23, and 318 on November 24.
