Diwali is here and it is a time to send lovely diwali wishes to your friends, families and employees. As the festival draws near, we begin looking for quotes and wishes to bring joy and smiles to our loved ones.

Diwali, also known as Deepavali, is one of India’s most celebrated festivals, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil.  Families and friends come together to celebrate the festival by lighting oil lamps (diyas), decorating their homes, bursting crackers, and sharing sweets.

When is Diwali Celebrated?

Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is typically celebrated in October or November, depending on the Hindu lunar calendar. It falls on the 15th day of the month of Kartika. The festival spans five days, with the main celebration occurring on the third day.

In 2024, Diwali will be celebrated on 31st October. The Amavasya Tithi will conclude at 6:16 PM on November 1, 2024, and Laxmi Pujan is traditionally performed after sunset when the Moon becomes visible. Therefore, October 31st 2024, will be the ideal day to celebrate Diwali.
