Bollywood actor Salman Khan arrived on the set of the TV show Bigg Boss 18 late on Thursday night, amidst serious security threats. The 58-year-old star was accompanied by a large security detail to ensure his safety. A source revealed that Salman took refuge in a designated chalet within the set's compound ahead of the scheduled filming on Friday.
Despite the alarming circumstances, the shooting will proceed as planned. Salman’s team is coordinating closely with the production and the channel to facilitate safe movements throughout the filming process. Over 60 security personnel will be present on set, implementing strict measures to safeguard the area. Additionally, no outsiders are allowed to enter the compound without proper identification verification.
The crew of Bigg Boss 18 has been instructed to remain on-site until filming concludes, which includes two episodes of Weekend Ka Vaar set to air this weekend.
Recently, an alleged member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang sent a threat message to the Mumbai Traffic Police, demanding Rs 5 crore from Salman to settle a long-standing feud. The message warned that if Salman did not comply, he could face a fate worse than that of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, who was shot dead just a day after Salman filmed the last weekend episode of Bigg Boss on October 11.
In light of these threats, Salman has been provided Y-plus security, which includes a police escort vehicle and a trained constable equipped to handle any situation accompanying him at all times. The serious nature of these threats has led to heightened security measures, ensuring the actor's safety during filming.
