Over 100 Air India passengers traveling from Phuket to New Delhi were stuck in Thailand for over 80 hours due to repeated technical problems with the plane. The flight was initially scheduled for the night of November 16 but was delayed by six hours because of a technical issue.

Things got worse when passengers were made to wait at the airport for hours. They eventually boarded the plane, only to be deboarded an hour later when the flight was suddenly cancelled. Air India apologized and said they provided hotel stays, meals, and alternative flight options for some passengers. They also offered full refunds and free rescheduling.

However, passengers shared a different story on social media, describing poor communication and chaotic handling of the situation. Many said they got little to no help from Air India’s staff, even after tagging the airline on platforms like X (formerly Twitter).

After two days, passengers were told the plane was fixed and ready to fly. But about two-and-a-half hours into the flight, it had to turn back to Phuket because of another technical issue, leaving passengers stranded again.

Some passengers called the experience "mentally and physically exhausting" and complained about delays and confusion in getting hotel accommodations and meals.
