Honda has entered the Indian electric two-wheeler market with the launch of the Activa e: electric scooter. It will be available in two variants – standard and Sync Duo. The prices will be announced, and bookings will begin on January 1, 2025, with deliveries starting in February 2025. Initially, the scooter will be sold in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, with plans to expand to other cities later.

The Activa e: features two 1.5kWh swappable batteries, offering a total range of 102 km on a full charge. These batteries are developed by Honda Power Pack Energy India. The scooter is powered by a 6kW electric motor, producing 22Nm of peak torque, and offers three riding modes: Econ, Standard, and Sport. In Sport mode, the top speed is 80 km/h, and it accelerates from 0 to 60 km/h in 7.3 seconds.

The Activa e: also comes with a 7-inch TFT screen with connectivity features through the Honda RoadSync Duo app, which supports navigation and can be controlled via handlebar switches. It also includes Honda’s H-Smart key features like Smart Find, Smart Safe, Smart Unlock, and Smart Start. The scooter has 12-inch alloy wheels, telescopic forks, dual springs, and a disc-drum brake setup.

The Activa e: will be available in five colors: Pearl Shallow Blue, Pearl Misty White, Pearl Serenity Blue, Matt Foggy Silver Metallic, and Pearl Igneous Black.
