After the BJP's triumphant third-term victory in Haryana, they took a light-hearted jab at the Congress party during their celebrations. The BJP ordered 1 kilogram of jalebi, which cost around Rs 609 including taxes, from Bikanervala in Delhi’s Connaught Place. They cheekily addressed the order to "Jalebi for Rahul Gandhi" at the Congress headquarters on 24, Akbar Road, and opted for cash on delivery as the payment method.

The choice of jalebi was significant and not random. On October 8, the day of the election results, jalebi began trending on social media. This was sparked by Rahul Gandhi, who had recently tasted the sweet treat at a local shop in Haryana's Guhana. He suggested that jalebis should be produced on an industrial scale to ensure they reach people across India and beyond. This comment provided the BJP with an opportunity to mock him, responding that "jalebi factories do not exist."

The BJP used this playful order to celebrate their electoral success and to poke fun at Rahul Gandhi's previous remarks. Additionally, Rajasthan Chief Minister and BJP leader Bhajanlal Sharma went a step further by trying his hand at making jalebis himself. This light-hearted incident not only added to the BJP's celebration but also highlighted the ongoing rivalry between the two parties in a humorous way.
