Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg shared on Instagram that he and his wife, Priscilla Chan, now own two special Porsche cars: a Porsche 911 GT3 for himself and a custom-designed Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT Minivan for Priscilla.
In his post, Zuckerberg explained that the minivan was Priscilla’s idea. “Priscilla wanted a minivan, so I’ve been designing something I think should exist—a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT Minivan,” he wrote. He added that the project was a collaboration with Porsche and West Coast Customs, a well-known car customization shop. To match his wife's car, Zuckerberg chose a manual GT3 Touring model for himself.
The Instagram post featured photos and videos of both cars. Priscilla humorously commented on the post, asking, "They put in a boost mode. For when I’m late for drop off??"
The Porsche 911 GT3 is known for its high performance and stylish design. Meanwhile, the custom Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT Minivan is a one-of-a-kind vehicle made specifically for Priscilla’s family-friendly needs.
The standard Porsche Cayenne starts at around $90,000, but the Turbo GT version, with more powerful features and sporty look, can cost much more. With customizations from West Coast Customs, the price of the car can increase by another $100,000.
Zuckerberg’s car choices have made headlines before. He has been seen driving everything from budget-friendly cars like a Honda Fit and Volkswagen Golf GTI to luxury vehicles like the $1 million Pagani Huayra sports car.
