The highly anticipated movie Singham Again, featuring Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff, is set for a big Diwali release. It will compete with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, Singham Again loosely draws inspiration from the Ramayan, blending the epic with the "cop universe" theme. Recently, reports revealed that the Censor Board asked for some changes, including the removal of a scene involving Ravana and Sita. The film has been given a U/A certificate.

According to Bollywood Hungama, the Censor Board cut about 7.12 minutes of footage. They requested adjustments in a couple of scenes where 23-second “match cut” visuals of Lord Rama, Sita, and Lord Hanuman were shown alongside Singham, Avni, and Simmba. Another scene where “Singham touches Shri Ram’s feet” was also modified.

The board asked director Rohit Shetty to delete a 16-second clip where Arjun Kapoor’s character as Ravana is seen “grabbing, pulling, and pushing Sita.” A 29-second scene showing “Hanuman burning” and a dialogue involving Simmba flirting were also cut.

One 26-second dialogue and visuals were removed as the Censor Board believed they could impact India’s relations with neighboring countries.

The CBFC has also asked the filmmakers to add a disclaimer at the beginning, stating, “This film is purely a work of fiction... Though inspired by Lord Ram’s story, it does not represent revered deities. The story features contemporary characters and does not reflect any particular society, culture, customs, or traditions.”

Singham Again, a multi-starrer with Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff, will release on November 1 alongside Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
